I am Randall Wayne Parker, an artist whose practice spans traditional and digital media. My work explores the interplay between chaos and order, the conscious and unconscious, and the boundaries between physical and digital realms.

Art has been my lifelong pursuit—a means of interrogating reality and expressing the complexity of human experience. As a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I've developed a distinctive visual language that bridges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary sensibilities.

Artist Statement

My work exists at the threshold between chaos and order. I begin with intuitive, spontaneous acts that generate naturally chaotic forms, then methodically transform these initial gestures into compositions that suggest purpose and meaning. This process mirrors how I believe consciousness itself operates – finding patterns and creating structure within the apparent randomness of existence.

Working primarily with watercolor, acrylics, and paint markers, I embrace a process of discovery rather than strict planning. I trust in the moment of creation, allowing each piece to emerge through a dialogue between intention and accident, conscious refinement and subconscious impulse. The result is what one critic described as "abstract illusionism" – works that demand attention through their intricate details and invite viewers to discover worlds within worlds.

Recently, my traditional art practice has merged with digital explorations, incorporating characters and elements from my "Gwim Ironsack" project. These recurring motifs serve as anchors in my visual language, connecting disparate pieces into a larger, evolving mythology.
